We're a home boarding facility for dogs based in Eckington near Sheffield. We're licenced to board 7 dogs.
.Jess Penny, founder of Lone Wolf is an experienced dog sitter with a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour & Welfare. Jess is DBS checked and fully insured to board dogs within her home. Being at home full-time, she devotes herself to the dogs in her care completely during their stay.​

YOUR DOGS STAY...
Subject to your dog's health, fitness levels and ability, we offer exciting & varied walks, as well as daily scheduled enrichment activities. We benefit from being within a couple of minutes walk of beautiful open countryside, including ancient woodland, farmland, wetlands and a stunning river.

All dogs are treated as part of the family and have full access to our spacious home and secure garden. Our home is furnished in a traditional, practical style - muddy boots and wet paws welcome! From October to March, our log burner is lit everyday, making the living room the firm favourite chillout spot for our boarding dogs.
The premises undergoes regular inspection from NE Derbyshire District Council Licencing Department and Environmental Health ensuring that the strict Health & Safety criteria required to host dogs are met.​ The dogs safety and security is at the forefront of everything we do.
We welcome vaccinated dogs over 12 months of age that are spayed/neutered. Dogs that suit home boarding mix well with other dogs, are housetrained and live happily in a home environment without exhibiting problem behaviours such as excessive chewing.​​​

​"Lone Wolf came about due to a number of bad experiences when trying to find high quality dog boarding for my own dogs - kennels did not meet their exercise or mental stimulation needs and many home boarding options had tiny gardens or no gardens at all! The good facilities were booked up years in advance by repeat customers with little to no availability for new custom. With dog ownership at record highs, this identified a need for more high-quality home from home dog boarding in our area.

We offer a luxurious alternative to kennels. Customer's dogs have a comfortable and safe place to stay when their owners are on holiday or go out for the day. The dogs live in the home and are treated as an extended member of the family, benefitting from; regular walks, playtime in the garden, relaxation time in the home, grooming and lots of fuss! Their dietary and any medical needs are met and they have my full company, attention and love during their stay."
